Olde Main Studios currently offers lessons in Guitar, Bass, Vocal, Cello, Ukulele, Songwriting, Recording and Producing, and Music Theory. Our teachers work independently so reach out to the teacher personally for pricing and scheduling. Pricing start at $100/month.

Rory Childs

  • Beginner to advance guitar

Rory has been teaching guitar and music lessons since 2004. He taught private guitar lessons at Boothe Brothers Music in Spanish Fork for 17 years. He teaches all levels and styles. He taught beginner and intermediate guitar classes at American Leadership Academy for 3 years. Rory has been a coach for the Summer Real Rock Band at The Angelus Theater and is currently the director/coordinator of the Summer Real Rock Band alongside our year round Student Band Program at Olde Main Studios. He has played in and is currently playing in multiple bands. He has done session work both on stage and in the studio. Rory also does recording producer work and books bands at local venues. 

Lessons Available Monday through Friday 2pm-9pm. Prices are $35/lesson for one off lessons or $120/month tuition based for ongoing month to month lessons. 801-361-9743

 

 

Matt Lehnardt

  • Beginner to Advanced Drums

Matt is an experienced and creative drummer. He has taken lessons from the great Jay Lawrence for many years. He has done session work with multiple bands over the years.

Alec Lowe

  • Beginner to Advance Drums and Percussion

Alec is a graduated of UVU with his Bachelor’s in Commercial Music. He has played in dozens of bands and for many well known musicians. He has been teaching for many years and is phenomenal drummer. Alec has been professionally recording for well over a decade and is extremely proficient in those skills. He is the head engineer at Olde Main Studios.

Caden Barney

  • Beginner to Advanced Bass Guitar

  • Beginner to intermediate drums

Caden has been learning and performing for 15 years. Focusing on the bass, but educating himself with other instruments along the way. He has a very diverse background of musical influences from funk to metal to orchestral to jazz. He has had steady gigs doing broad way shows, sitting in the pit orchestra at American Leadership Academy, and now performs with local band Social Soup. In addition to teaching here at Olde Main Studios, he also teaches at Redshack Studios in Payson.

Zulma Ann

As a classically trained cellist, Zulma has been playing for 10 years. She began teaching in 2023.

Drew Condie

Drew has been teaching music lessons since 2021. He has been playing guitar since 2016
and is a testament to what you can achieve when you practice, playing professionally in just a
couple of years. He teaches electric and acoustic guitar and ukulele. Drew has experience
teaching all ages, all levels, and all styles of music. He is committed to helping students reach
their goals. Drew crafts his lessons to meet the needs of the students and adapts his curriculum
for every individual.
Drew graduated with his Bachelors in Commercial Music from Snow College in May,
2023. While studying he grew more versatile getting to play in rock bands, a country band, and
the top jazz ensemble. Drew took two years of lessons from studio musician and former Donny
Osmond touring musician, Rich Dixon. Drew is a former member of the party rock band
Route89 and metal band Memories Never Die.
Drew studied with audio engineer and producer Ben Harris when getting his degree
where he learned how to record, mix, and produce music. Drew has been working as a freelance
audio and lighting technician since 2021, employed by companies such as TrueAV and WEBB.
Drew has been working freelance as a DJ since 2022, having been hired to DJ for school and

Music has shaped Drew’s life and he wants all of his students to feel that same impact.
He is devoted to helping foster a love and passion for music in his students and help them build a
confidence that they can do hard things.

Carie Vaughn

  • Beginner to advanced Vocal lessons
  • Songwriting

Carie has a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and Commercial music from Utah Valley University. She has been the vocal teacher and musical director of many theater productions. Carie teaches safe and proper vocal techniques, multiple music styles, classical, mix, and belt techniques, stage performance training, and handling performance anxiety.
